The $1 participation fee is a response-quality filter. It discourages duplicate, careless, or bad-faith responses and helps cover the cost of running the survey using Survey Monkey, a popular cloud-based software platform used to create, distribute, and analyze online surveys, forms, and polls.

We want answers from people who care enough to take the survey seriously. The fee helps reduce fake responses, duplicate responses, joke answers, automated entries, and low-effort comments.

This survey is being used to create a trusted public report about Fort Bragg community ideas. People from nearby unincorporated areas are welcome to participate because Fort Bragg affects them too, but the survey questions are about Fort Bragg itself.

Please do not use the survey to joke, insult people, spam, or submit fake information. Every answer will be saved and reviewed, so please answer in a way that helps the final report be useful.
